There is unfortunately a false impression that homoeopathy is slow acting. If the disease is a long standing chronic disease which has been complicated by long term suppressive medicines- treatment will take time.

Homoeopathic remedies are from plant, mineral and animal sources and are prescribed on the basis of ‘ ” Law of Similars’. On the other hand Tissue remedies are Biochemic salts. Biochemic therapeutics is based on the physiological fact that both the structure and vitality of the organs of the body are dependent upon certain necessary quantities of mineral salts. The disorders resulting from these deficiencies are treated by replenishing the body with potentized salts.

Homoeopathy is “God-sent” for infants, children and parents as well. Homoeopathic medicines are quick and effective in treating infant teething or colic. They reduce the pain and discomfort of a child’s earache, which sharply reduces the need for antibiotics. Homoeopathy strengthens the child’s own defense system therefore prevent recurrent infections. It also  calms  children with behavioural and emotional  issues. What are the Limitations of Homoeopathy?

Homoeopathy like every kind of healing has it’s limitations. Some conditions do not respond to micro-doses such as surgical intervention or other life threatening conditions when immediate relief is sought. Homoeopaths like other medical professionals, recognize the special value of surgery. Homoeopathic medicines can be of great value in reducing the need for surgery and at other times the medicines are invaluable in helping the person heal after surgery. Homoeopathic medicines are effective in helping a person re-establish health after exposure to toxins in the environment.
